The big metal working lathe is gone! Sold to a guy in Pensecola. Brian and Ralph used ancient Egyptian techniques and mind power to get it out to the loading dock. They have rearranged the metal shop a bit as the lathe left a big hole...maybe as big as the new ShopBot we're getting, who knows? Robert Submitted by rcoleman
Staff Paint Shop Manager, Lori Bollinger, has been hard at work over the Summer on the first show of next season, Picasso at the Lapin Agile. She's posted some progress photos of the set.
Rick DiGiuseppe (MFA '09) has just posted some construction photos of his show at the Lake George Opera in Saratoga Spring, where he's TDing this summer.
Lake George Opera produces three operas in rep. The operas this summer are Pirates of Penzance, La Traviata, and Gianni Schicchi/Buoso's Ghost.
Our host has moved us onto a newer (and hopefully faster) server. Much of the photogallery was broken in the move however. Please bear with us as we sort out the damage and get things put back togeather.
edit: Hopefully I've managed to catch all the broken photos. Please let me know if you see anything else that needs fixed.
Afternoon of the Elves loads into the Fallon Theatre this weekend. The show will be in techs this week, and runs November 29 through December 2, 2007. Tickets, as always, can be purchased at the Fallon Box Office, or ordered online.
Also of note, The Birds is now playing, and runs through November 18th. It's apparently been getting favorable reviews.
The crew for The Birds was busy this past weekend, loadin the set into the Lab Theatre. The Birds runs November 9-11 and 13-18. Photos of the loadin can be found in the Gallery.
